The Udyam Registration Certificate is an official e-certificate issued by the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India, once a business is successfully registered on the Udyam portal. It is a computer-generated document (no physical signature required) that formally recognises your enterprise as a Micro, Small, or Medium Enterprise and carries a unique Udyam Registration Number used to avail MSME schemes and benefits.

Once issued, your certificate will contain the following details.
Your classification as Micro, Small, or Medium, and whether you operate in Manufacturing or Services.
A unique identifier in the format UDYAM-XX-00-0000000, used to identify your business in all MSME schemes.
The registered trade name of your business as declared during application.
The complete registered business address, including village/town, block, city, state and PIN code.
The date your enterprise was legally incorporated or registered.
The date your enterprise began actual business operations.
2-digit, 4-digit and 5-digit codes that describe your specific business activity, along with its classification as manufacturing or services.
The date your application was acknowledged, along with a QR code linking to the verification record on the official government portal.
